Lower-cost but commercially appealing titles for HHSE-Hemdale span a broad array of genres and audiences.

Ambitious production slate of eleven features includes four titles that Company considers as Major Tentpole Releases.

Hannover House, Inc. (OTCMKTS:HHSE)

We think Jolly is going to be the next major indie-horror hit for 2026, as a title that really over-performs expectations at the box office.”— Eric Parkinson, CEO of Hannover HouseLOS ANGELES , CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Hannover House, Inc. (OTC: HHSE), an independent studio distributor now operating for 33 years, has ambitious strategies for the recently revived Hemdale Film Corporation label. Through co-production partnerships, financial incentives, and private capital secured for eleven feature-length projects, Hannover House believes Hemdale can quickly return to its former standing as a multi-Oscar-winning studio.

“A number of our upcoming productions feature the right components and star talent to distinguish themselves from the competition and attract awards consideration,” stated Eric Parkinson, who serves as C.E.O. of both Hannover House and Hemdale Film Corporation. “We postponed the Hemdale brand relaunch for more than 25 years because we were committed to ensuring that projects carrying the Hemdale name would have the proper blend of socially meaningful content, commercially engaging narratives, and box-office-proven actors. Several of our current projects — especially 17N Conspiracy — fulfill all these criteria and appear destined for exceptional success,” he added.

Hemdale Film Corporation was established in 1967 by promoter John Daly and actor David Hemmings. The company became a major producer of upscale independent films and, to this day, remains one of just two studios ever to win the Academy Award for Best Picture in consecutive years (Hemdale achieved this with “Platoon” and “The Last Emperor”). Eric Parkinson joined Hemdale in 1991, and as CEO, he developed a top-tier home video division that quickly reduced the company’s outstanding debt by more than $58 million. Ultimately, Credit Lyonnais Bank merged the Hemdale Film Corporation library with five other independent studios into MGM-UA, and the Hemdale brand ceased all operations in 1997. Parkinson went on to fill several studio consulting roles before purchasing Hannover House in 2002 and incorporating video products into the firm’s book publishing operations. Parkinson re-established Hemdale in 2023 with the aim of identifying quality films that are both commercially viable and likely to earn critical praise.

The newly revealed production lineup for Hannover House and Hemdale-branded films encompasses projects currently filming, others in advanced pre-production, and titles being developed for production during the 2027 calendar year. Projects now in production include:

INDIAN TERRITORY – an epic period western chronicling the final weeks before the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 – written and directed by Eric Parkinson.

JOLLY – a Christmas-themed thriller blending traditional animation methods with cutting-edge software technology – written and directed by Arthur G. Night.

NATIVE FABLES – a compilation of five stories centered on Native American history or cultural heritage, from Cherokee writer-director Christopher Coursey.

Feature projects in advanced pre-production, set to begin principal photography in 2026 or early 2027, include:

THE 17N CONSPIRACY – a compelling, insightful narrative about the rise and collapse of Greece’s democratic revolution, from writer-director Giorgos Papatheodorou, co-written and produced by Vivian Schilling.

TEMPUS PORTA – an audience-friendly adventure shot in Malta, featuring elements reminiscent of “Indiana Jones” and “Stargate,” from writer-director Eric Parkinson.

THE MEAT MAN – a chilling thriller inspired by the real-life story of a door-to-door serial killer active in Oklahoma during the 1960s, from writer-director Jack Dexter.

LIFE LESSONS – a faith-based road movie to be filmed in Texas and Missouri, centered on a father imparting wisdom to his daughters, written by Wes Gillum.

Other feature projects currently in active development for 2027 filming include:

JOURNEY TO UTOPIA – a family-oriented fantasy adventure, created as a hybrid of live-action and CGI/AI animation, from writer Mike Snyder.

MODERN ANTIQUITIES – an uplifting story about lost dreams and discovered treasures, set against the backdrop of rare stamp collecting, from writer-director Eric Parkinson.

BIGFOOT PROPHECIES – a thrilling creature feature about a Bigfoot hunt in Oklahoma that turns the tables on the hunters, written and directed by Christian K. Large.

SHADOWLANDS – inspired by a Native American legend, a Hualapai shaman in New Mexico confronts an evil force within a dreamlike realm, written by Phoenix Ghost.

Additional information on these feature projects will be posted on the Hannover website at www.HannoverHouse.com, as well as through listings on www.IMDB.com.

Hannover House released the first-look trailer for one of its current productions, the JOLLY Christmas thriller feature, on Friday, September 4. Initial consumer reaction has been strong, with more than 220,000 views on YouTube before the launch of national advertisements through horror publications and social media.

“The trailer response has been extraordinary,” Parkinson remarked. “The film looks like something audiences would anticipate from a $100-million major studio budget, so credit goes to Arthur G. Night for delivering a movie with top-tier quality on a micro-budget. It’s genuinely impressive and really highlights what a smart, capable director and team can accomplish by making the most of traditional filmmaking techniques and the latest photo-realistic software tools. We believe Jolly will be the next major indie horror hit of 2026, a title that truly exceeds box-office expectations.”

Hannover House continues to be active in its original core business of book publishing. A new book from best-selling author Barr McClellan (“Made in the USA” and “Blood, Money and Power: How LBJ Killed JFK”) was released just last week by Hannover House. “American Manifesto: The Winning Campaign Strategies of President Donald J. Trump” offers an insider’s perspective on the marketing, publicity, advertising, and social media tactics employed by the Trump campaign in 2024 to secure an unexpected victory. The book is currently available on Amazon.com and will be expanded to mainstream retail bookstores in the coming weeks.
