The October 10 event unites leading Florida choreographers for a single day dedicated to dance training, artistic expression, and creative collaboration.
Motiv8 Dance Movement is excited to announce its involvement with Magic City’s Dance World for the upcoming Miami’s Ultimate Dance Convention, scheduled for October 10, 2026.
In this partnership, Motiv8 Dance Movement instructors Amanda Muñoz-Lio and Donovyn Diaz will serve as featured choreographers on the convention’s faculty. Alyssa Wong, who dances with the Motiv8 Dance Movement Elite Company, will also take part as a featured Dance Icon and faculty member.
They will be joined by other top Florida choreographers including Leah Gonzalez, PK (Phillip Kendrick), Lourdes Albarellos, and Alain Marquez for a dance-focused educational event designed to bring together dancers, instructors, and studios from throughout the region.
Having three representatives from Motiv8 Dance Movement involved highlights the studio’s expanding influence within Florida’s dance scene and its dedication to offering opportunities that link up-and-coming dancers with professional guidance, collaborative projects, and wider industry exposure.

Magic City’s Dance World organizes dance conventions, regional competitions, and national contests aimed at dancers, studios, teachers, and families. Miami’s Ultimate Dance Convention carries forward that mission by bringing together a faculty of Florida choreographers for an intensive day of dance training, artistic exploration, and creative interaction.
MOTIV8 COACHES BRING PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE TO THE EVENT

ALYSSA WONG TAKES ON FEATURED CHOREOGRAPHER ROLE
Alyssa Wong’s role as a featured choreographer is a significant achievement for the young performer and for the Motiv8 Dance Movement Elite Company.
Wong trains and competes with MDM’s Elite Company, where dancers receive advanced instruction and get ready for regional and national performance events. Her involvement in the Miami convention places her in a teaching and creative capacity alongside experienced dance professionals.
As a featured choreographer, Wong will have the chance to share her movement style, artistic vision, and performance background with participating dancers. Her selection also highlights the importance of giving emerging artists real opportunities to build leadership skills, express their creative ideas, and support the learning of others.
“Being asked to join as a featured choreographer is a fantastic opportunity,” said Wong. “I’m looking forward to sharing my movement, meeting other dancers, and being part of an event that celebrates creativity, self-assurance, and personal growth.”
