Tommee Profitt Brings The Birth Of A King to Life at Bridgestone Arena in 2026

Tommee Profitt’s The Resurrection Of A King Sells Out During Pre-Sale – Limited Tickets Available for Christmas Show

The one-night-only Easter presentation THE RESURRECTION OF A KING, from award-winning producer and composer Tommee Profitt at the Opry House on March 24, 2027, has been completely sold out.

“I thought it was incredibly important to tell the other half of the story after ‘The Birth Of A King,’ but never in my wildest dreams did I expect it to turn into a LIVE show.” ”— Tommee ProfittNASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, September 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The award-winning producer, composer, and artist Tommee Profitt has announced a full sellout for his exclusive Easter event, THE RESURRECTION OF A KING, set for March 24, 2027, at Nashville’s historic Grand Ole Opry House. This much-anticipated show was completely purchased during the pre-sale phase, before tickets ever reached the general public.

This tremendous response highlights Profitt’s continued expansion in cinematic live productions. Since its first live performance in 2022, his Christmas show, THE BIRTH OF A KING, has experienced enormous growth—reaching a sold-out Grand Ole Opry House and quickly selling out its initial Bridgestone Arena appearance in 2025. Profitt has again joined forces with TPR to present the must-see Christmas experience for two nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on December 12 and 13, 2026, with a limited number of tickets still available here.

Now Profitt is applying that same cinematic scope to the Easter narrative. THE RESURRECTION OF A KING will showcase 20 world-class guest performers alongside a full orchestra and choir, bringing his celebrated Easter recording to the stage. The program will guide audiences from the weight of the crucifixion to the explosive victory of the empty tomb, reimagining classic hymns with sweeping orchestration and powerful vocal deliveries.

“I truly never thought this would happen, but here we are. I thought it was incredibly important to tell the other half of the story after ‘The Birth Of A King,’ but never in my wildest dreams did I expect it to turn into a LIVE show,” shares Tommee Profitt. “It was just gonna be an album. But honestly, when we were filming the videos for all the songs, and the music was blasting through the speakers, and I was hearing the real orchestra and choir, it was so overwhelmingly powerful, I just kept thinking, THIS IS HOW THIS MUSIC NEEDS TO BE EXPERIENCED! My hope is that this one-night event causes people to experience the story of the resurrection and its meaning in a new way!”

This live production builds on Profitt’s 19-track cinematic album, THE RESURRECTION OF A KING, which breathes new life into cherished hymns such as “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Jesus Paid It All,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Just As I Am.” The project has also been nominated for a 2026 GMA Dove Award.

Famous for his distinctive cinematic production, Profitt continues to blend orchestral scale with contemporary production and music grounded in faith and narrative. With over 100 billion lifetime streams, more than 300 film and television sync uses, and 49 RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications, Profitt has worked alongside artists including CeCe Winans, Phil Wickham, Crowder, Tauren Wells, and many others.

ABOUT TOMMEE PROFITT: Over the last decade, Profitt has achieved remarkable success as a musician, producer, songwriter, and award-winning composer for TV and film. A lifelong musician who taught himself piano as a child, he began producing his own music at age 12. His cinematic releases have amassed over 100 billion global lifetime streams and views across all platforms and have seen extensive sync success with more than 300 placements in movie trailers, TV promos, and video games.

Profitt has also earned recognition and praise for his genre-blending production and collaborations with artists like CeCe Winans, Phil Wickham, Crowder, Tauren Wells, and many more (co-writing and producing his 2017 single “Let You Down”, 8x platinum + #1 Top 40 Radio Single), including 17 RIAA Platinum and 26 RIAA Gold certifications.

One of Profitt’s most personal milestones has been creating a one-of-a-kind Christmas project in 2020 titled The Birth Of A King, where he infuses familiar carols with weight and power through his orchestral and emotionally stirring arrangements. That project alone has generated over 177 million global streams and has evolved into a live annual destination concert event. This year, more than 20 artists, a 60-piece orchestra, and a 100-person choir will gather in Nashville to perform for a sold-out Bridgestone Arena audience of over 12,000 attendees from around the world. Last Easter, Profitt released The Resurrection of a King, a cinematic album centered on the Easter story and its triumph. He has now revealed
