On the previous night, Hellbilly Hollow descended onto Hollywood, and the Sunset Strip in LA experienced its first taste of terror as horror enthusiasts filled a special advance screening to scream, cheer, and celebrate. The Southern-style slasher "Hellbilly Hollow" debuts today, Friday, September 25, in chosen U.S. theaters. "Hellbilly Hollow" marks the inaugural film ever captured at the famed Alabama haunted attraction bearing the same name, bringing one of the South's most iconic scare destinations to cinema. For years, visitors have journeyed to Vincent, Alabama, to face its haunted barn, backwoods hayride, and scare zones. Now, the attraction that countless fans already know has its own movie, filmed exclusively on its property. In it, a group of paranormal YouTubers arrives to record the night before Halloween and discovers that the frights are genuine. Killer siblings Tickles and Bull are waiting, and they don't follow haunt rules.

In "Hellbilly Hollow," a crew of paranormal YouTubers journeys to the Alabama wilderness to shoot at a haunted attraction on the night before Halloween. What they encounter is far more lethal than manufactured scares. Tickles is a disfigured, childlike clown, and Bull is the controlling brother who looks after him. One after another, the investigators and a group of local adventure-seekers fall prey to the siblings' games.
Actor/Director Kevin Wayne conceived the idea while shooting a commercial at Hellbilly Hollow. As he walked the grounds, he imagined a figure stalking victims through the haunt's backwoods, and the movie evolved from there. Instead of recreating the attraction on a soundstage, the production filmed at the actual location. Fans who have screamed their way through the barn and hayride will recognize every spot. Viewers who have never visited get their first glimpse of the place that has terrified Alabama guests for years.
The film stars Kurt Deimer, Kevin Wayne, Danny Vinson, Sandra Ellis Lafferty, Megan Alexandrea Weaver, Hallie Shepherd, Trey Miller and Keller Fornes. Director of photography is David Brower, and the original score is by Roy Mayorga. The executive producers are Michael T. Clarke, Mike Denard, Andy Gould, David Miller, Tim Miller, James Srygley, Kevin Wayne and Brandon Evans. The film was produced by Kurt Deimer and Todd Slater, written by Bernadette Chapman, and directed by Kevin Wayne.
