The South African singer-songwriter introduces a new era with a cinematic visual filmed across Wyoming.

Fant3sy is about that space between what you imagine something could be and what it actually becomes.”— Ché Pierce

South African singer-songwriter Ché Pierce will release her new single “Fant3sy” on October 2, 2026, accompanied by its official music video, marking a new chapter in her evolving sound and visual identity.
Set against the expansive landscapes of Wyoming, the “Fant3sy” visual unfolds like a fever dream, moving between natural hot springs, a remote lakeside, a secluded lodge and a private airfield. Beauty and unease exist side by side throughout the film, with recurring imagery of water, a red apple and aircraft gradually transforming an idyllic fantasy into something darker.

“Fant3sy is about that space between what you imagine something could be and what it actually becomes,” says Pierce. “I wanted the video to feel beautiful at first, almost unreal, and then slowly become more unpredictable. Wyoming gave us the space to create that world on a much bigger scale.”

Filmed in collaboration with KGB Productions, the music video features cinematic aviation sequences spanning takeoff through an aircraft crash, juxtaposing the freedom of escape with the unraveling of the fantasy itself. Pierce was closely involved in the visual concept and creative direction of the project.

“Fant3sy” also signals a new era for Pierce, who began her recording career in South Africa under the name Ché-Lee Nel. Her earlier releases include “Ek Like Hoe Jy Dans” featuring Snotkop, which earned a Best Collaboration nomination at the 27th South African Music Awards (SAMA27) and was subsequently certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA). She has also collaborated with South African artist Early B and released her debut album, Believe, in 2017.

Now recording as Ché Pierce and building the next chapter of her career in the United States, Pierce brings together contemporary pop, cinematic storytelling and an increasingly defined visual identity.
“Fant3sy” will be released October 2, 2026, alongside its official music video.
