Three years of personal upheaval and recovery have yielded a deeply intimate record from Ajeet, who now stands on the cusp of the biggest live showcase of her career.

“This song is friendship taking form. It’s the voice of someone who loves you reminding you that you already have all the answers.”— Ajeet

The Irish-American songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has channeled themes of healing, home and human connection into her latest full-length project, which arrives today with a companion visual for the track “only you know where peace is,” released through Spirit Voyage Records.

Assembled over a three-year stretch from Ajeet‘s home studio along Ireland’s west coast, Slánú emerged from a season of significant transition. In the midst of crafting the record, Ajeet faced three major surgeries tied to severe endometriosis, all while reconnecting with the Irish landscape, language and community that defined her formative years.

In Irish, Slánú carries connotations of healing, recovery and completion — and those ideas took on intensely personal resonance as the project developed. For years, Ajeet had watched audiences turn to her music for solace and introspection; during this period, that same body of work became a source of comfort for her own journey.

The album weaves together intimate songcraft, acoustic roots and layered sonic textures, shaped by both isolation and partnership. Scottish singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni and Irish harpist Aisling Urwin lend their voices to “Dreaming,” while “Para Sanar” finds Ajeet collaborating with Barcelona’s Alex Serra on a Spanish-language duet co-written by the pair. These joint efforts underscore the record’s fluid movement across languages, cultures and musical idioms.

Ajeet handled production and mixing duties for Slánú, contributing vocals, guitar, piano, percussion and bouzouki throughout the collection.

A New Music Video: “only you know where peace is”

The album’s arrival is paired with a freshly released music video for “only you know where peace is,” a piece Ajeet wrote in a single sitting for a close friend navigating heartbreak. The song serves as a tender meditation on friendship and the quiet reassurance that comes from being truly seen, celebrating the bonds that give us courage, restore our self-trust and remind us of the wisdom we already hold.

“This song is friendship taking form,” Ajeet explains. “It’s the voice of someone who loves you reminding you that you already have all the answers.”

From Ireland to Sphere

The release sets the stage for what may be the most high-profile performance of Ajeet’s career to date. On April 2–4, 2027, she is set to appear alongside Oprah Winfrey as a featured artist in Oprah Winfrey’s AHA at Sphere in Las Vegas, an immersive production blending music, narrative, visual art and technology on a monumental scale.

From a record born quietly at home on the Irish shoreline to a booking on one of the globe’s most ambitious performance venues, Slánú signals a pivotal moment for an independent musician who has steadily cultivated an international following that defies conventional genre boundaries.

Slánú is available worldwide now via Spirit Voyage Records.

Ajeet – Only You Know Where Peace Is (Official Music Video)

Why it matters: Ajeet’s latest album turns personal adversity into a universal message of recovery, and her upcoming Sphere appearance with Oprah Winfrey signals a major leap for an independent artist operating well outside the mainstream machine. For listeners, Slánú offers a reminder that music made in solitude can still resonate on the world’s largest stages.
