Renowned attorney, musician, and humanitarian launches joint EP focused on strength, unity, and the impact of generosity

Although music has always been a creative passion for him, this effort represents the initial occasion Worby has chosen to present his songwriting via an album credited to himself.

Acting as the songwriter and co-executive producer with Michael August, Worby brings his original compositions to life on Worby & Friends. While he is most recognized as a top trial lawyer in New York, Worby’s artistic side has always been present. Growing up in a working-class household, Worby spent years driving trucks at Newark Airport to fund his education, an experience that instilled in him a deep appreciation for effort, determination, and the regular individuals whose lives inspire his lyrics. As a songwriter, he has achieved over 25 placements in country music, a genre that mirrors the principles guiding his professional journey—honesty, belief, perseverance, love of country, family, and optimism. His efforts helped obtain nearly $1 billion in compensation for impacted workers and their families, and played a role in enacting the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which established enduring medical protections for emergency personnel.

The tracks will be offered as free downloads, and for every play of a song from Worby & Friends, David Worby will contribute one dollar personally, up to a total of $100,000—$50,000 allocated to the Gary Sinise Foundation and $50,000 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The Gary Sinise Foundation supports American veterans, first responders, and their loved ones via programs for injured service members, military households, and those who have given much for the nation. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries on the September 11 legacy by delivering mortgage-free residences to severely injured veterans and first responders, aiding families of fallen personnel, and helping emergency workers dealing with 9/11-related and other duty-related health issues.
