The music project brings artists and communities together to promote compassion, remembrance, mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month, the musical initiative All We Need Is Love unites artists, entertainment professionals, and communities worldwide, delivering a message of hope, remembrance, and human connection for individuals and families touched by suicide.
Revenue generated from digital downloads of the track will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding its efforts in prevention, education, advocacy, research, and resources for those affected by suicide. Each download helps convert that support into concrete resources, and fans are urged to obtain the song via the official website or any major music platform to maximize that impact.
Those who wish to support the cause can watch the official music video on YouTube and find further details about the project, including additional ways to aid suicide prevention, at AllWeNeedIsLoveProject.com.
Penned by Capital F.E.M.I. and produced by Vtek, All We Need Is Love includes vocal contributions from Bernard M. Walker, Aarion Pace Rhodes, and the Virginia State University Gospel Chorale, whose voices convey the recording’s themes of remembrance, compassion, and hope.
Held every September, National Suicide Prevention Month provides an opportunity to talk about mental health, honor those lost to suicide, and break down stigma. The month features 988 Day on September 8, which promotes the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, a worldwide call for open, caring dialogue.
Music has long been a medium for expressing what words cannot, offering solace and reducing feelings of isolation. “Every person involved in this project shares the belief that love and human connection can make a meaningful difference,” the project’s creative team said. “If this song encourages one person to start a conversation, seek support or reach out to someone who may be struggling, then its message has served an important purpose.”
The music video mirrors that sentiment through visuals of hope, compassion, and diversity, featuring individuals from communities across the globe. Emmy Award–winning anchor and producer Tamani Wooley makes a special appearance, and the video includes the widely shared sidewalk hug between toddler best friends Maxwell Hanson and Finnegan McKenna — originally filmed in New York City by Maxwell’s father, Michael Cisneros — which became an international emblem of friendship, acceptance, and unconditional love. Within the video, that moment quietly reminds viewers that compassion need not always come in grand gestures.
The project took years to come to fruition. Conceived by a collective of artists, industry professionals, and community advocates who believed music could spark conversations and highlight shared humanity, it was paused after the unexpected death of executive producer Jared Hancock of Surefire Music Group, whose creativity and vision shaped it from the very beginning. The creative team later reunited to finish the work, present it to audiences worldwide, and honor Hancock’s legacy.
During National Suicide Prevention Month and all year round, anyone in the United States experiencing emotional distress or a suicidal crisis can call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line for free, confidential, 24-hour support. No one should have to face a crisis alone.
