Streaming the beloved holiday tune now doubles as a direct donation to Nevada’s only pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center.

A fresh take on the iconic charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” has just dropped, and this time the voices behind it belong to familiar reality TV stage performers alongside a legendary Las Vegas entertainer. The track, which brings together finalists from American Idol and The Voice, as well as impressionist Terry Fator, is available now across every major streaming service.

Each play of the song generates a modest contribution to Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, which operates as Nevada’s only dedicated outpatient center for pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment. Those streaming proceeds are funneled into the organization’s Patient Assistance Fund, a resource designed to guarantee that children in the middle of cancer and rare disease battles receive the critical, often life-saving care they need without financial barriers.

Mitchell Koulouris, who serves as the foundation’s Digital Marketing and Social Media Director, steered the creative direction of the project. Under his guidance, the classic holiday melody was given brand-new lyrics aimed squarely at capturing the resilience and hope of young patients facing the most formidable challenges of their lives.

“This has been a labor of love from the very first note,” said Mitchell Koulouris. “Our kids face battles most adults couldn’t imagine, and they still find joy in the middle of it. Every stream of this song is one more way we can show up for them.”

The roster of vocal talent is a mix of chart-adjacent reality stars and viral sensations. Lending their voices are American Idol finalists Mackenzie Sol, Drew Ryn, Maryjo Young, Amanda Barise, and Samoan Silkk, plus The Voice finalist Sadie Dahl. The lineup also includes Jonah Marais, formerly of the boy band Why Don’t We, and TikTok creator PENG PENG. A second, separate recording of the song showcases Terry Fator, the Las Vegas-based ventriloquist and vocalist, who brings out his cast of puppet characters to mimic the styles of Freddie Mercury, Steve Wonder, Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Sammy Davis, Jr., and more. Both renditions come with their own music videos, which are live now on YouTube and across other social platforms. EKC PR is handling the national media push for the campaign.

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation (C4K) stands alone in the region as the only outpatient pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment facility, pairing high-level clinical research with a family-first approach. Since its founding in Las Vegas in 2007, C4K has delivered advanced, science-backed treatment for children dealing with cancer, rare diseases, blood disorders, and other complex medical conditions. The nonprofit’s core promise is that no family is ever turned away for inability to pay, and it actively works with each family to secure access to care. As an accredited institution by The Joint Commission and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, C4K has served the community for nearly two decades, with an average of 95 cents of every dollar raised going directly toward patient care. Why it matters: This release turns a simple holiday listen into a mechanism for direct charitable giving, proving that entertainment can be a sustainable funding source for critical pediatric care. For families facing a cancer diagnosis, every stream represents not just a song, but a tangible step toward ensuring no child is denied treatment due to cost.
