Instruments owned and played by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Radiohead, Elvis Presley, Mötley Crüe & Pink Floyd take the spotlight at Propstore’s Music Auction.
There’s something truly magical about the way guitars forge a direct link between fans and the musicians they admire, and this lineup features some truly extraordinary pieces. ”— Mark Hochman, Propstore’s Music Memorabilia Specialist. LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Propstore, a premier global auction house for entertainment memorabilia, has unveiled an impressive array of guitars that will be featured in its forthcoming Music Live Auction, scheduled to occur in the UK over two live sessions on October 1 & 2, 2026. This assortment features uncommon, concert-used, studio-recorded, and signed guitars associated with iconic figures in music, such as Noel Gallagher, Elvis Presley, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx, and Pink Floyd.
These guitars are part of a larger auction comprising over 800 lots of highly sought-after music collectibles, with a total estimated worth of roughly $4 million, and bidding will be accessible to collectors across the globe.
STANDOUT ITEMS INCLUDE:
At the forefront of the guitar offerings is Noel Gallagher’s photo-matched custom Nash Telemaster, which he personally owned and performed with during Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ 2016 summer tour, carrying an estimate of $52,800 – $105,600 (£40,000 – £80,000). This instrument, specially crafted for Gallagher by Nash Guitars, was used at concerts throughout Europe before Gallagher contributed it to a 2021 charity auction supporting The Edge’s Music Rising initiative. Gallagher later signed the guitar himself.
Also up for grabs is Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s photo-matched 1963 Gretsch Tennessean, which he played during the band’s 2006 US tour and while recording In Rainbows, valued at $19,800 – $39,600 (£15,000 – £30,000). This guitar is visible in photos from the album’s studio sessions and was sourced from Greenwood’s personal collection through one of Radiohead’s guitar techs.
A highly uncommon prototype Gibson Montana Elvis Presley SJ-200 acoustic guitar, with just two units ever built, is priced at $19,800 – $39,600 (£15,000 – £30,000). Originally intended as a third commemorative Elvis Presley model, the initiative was halted after only two prototypes were manufactured, with the other one believed to have stayed with Gibson.
Additional highlights feature Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx’s photo-matched, concert-used Schecter J-4 bass guitar, which he played at Wembley Stadium in 2023 and signed with an inscription, estimated at $7,920 – $15,840 (£6,000 – £12,000); plus a custom Fender Stratocaster adorned with Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon artwork, autographed by David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason, valued at $6,600 – $13,200 (£5,000 – £10,000).
The live auction will span two days on October 1 & 2, 2026, with bidding options available online, via phone, and through absentee bids for collectors worldwide.
Propstore is also organizing a complimentary public exhibition at The Cumberland Hotel, London, from September 24 – 27, 2026, giving fans and collectors an opportunity to view the featured items up close prior to the auction.
