King Drive in Chicago.
The family-oriented occasion, staged alongside Chicago City Life Center and supported by donated provisions and supplies from Convoy of Hope, drew youth, dads, households and local residents for an afternoon featuring meals, amusement, tunes and community bonding.
Attendees enjoyed complimentary meals, carnival rides, bounce houses, a miniature train ride, music, and a time of prayer and spiritual guidance led by Pastor Moody along with the Chicago City Life Center congregation. Chicago-born entertainer DLow made a notable cameo.
Scheduled during Father’s Day Weekend and marking Juneteenth, the carnival offered a secure and inviting setting for households to honor heritage, liberty, fatherhood and togetherness. The occasion underscored Future Ties’ steady dedication to uplifting youth and families through constructive activities, local involvement and meaningful alliances.
