The record arrived October 30 on major streaming platforms. Across its ten tracks, *Wrapped in Christmas* moves between upbeat holiday favorites, heartfelt ballads, and contemporary pop arrangements with cinematic influences.
Part of the inspiration behind the project was Kris's longtime love of Christmas films — along with the imaginative stories, characters, and memorable moments that make the holiday season special.
Several songs stand out among the album's featured tracks: the romantic holiday single "Meet Me Underneath The Mistletoe," the heartfelt "The Lights Lead Me Home," the playful "Santa Shuffle," and "My Christmas Wish."
The ten-song collection also includes "Wrapped Up Under My Tree," "Magic Bells at Christmas Time," "Joy," "Christmas Cheer," "I Found a Home in You," and "I Wanna Kiss You on Christmas Eve."
Listeners shouldn't expect a simple rehash of traditional Christmas sounds. Instead, Kris brings her signature blend of alternative rock, modern pop, and cinematic storytelling to the holiday genre.
With a mix of festive energy, romance, nostalgia, and heartfelt moments, *Wrapped in Christmas* offers listeners an original soundtrack for the holiday season.

Why it matters: Holiday playlists are dominated by the same familiar standards year after year, so an album built entirely from ten original songs gives listeners a rare alternative during the season. Kris's decision to apply her alternative rock and cinematic pop style to Christmas music also shows how the holiday genre can keep evolving rather than relying on nostalgia alone.
