When a book series reaches the cultural scale of Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses, the release of a new installment isn’t just a publishing event—it’s a moment fans plan around. RBmedia is leaning into that fervor with a physical artifact designed to match the weight of the occasion: a limited-edition vinyl pressing tied directly to the audiobook of A Court of Splintered Harmony.

Announced today, the collector’s edition is capped at 10,000 copies worldwide and goes on sale at noon ET via this dedicated page. The set includes three vinyl records featuring the prelude and first three chapters of the audiobook, read by award-winning narrator Elizabeth Evans. Alongside the records, buyers receive a deluxe jacket, art postcards, bookmarks, a poster, an updated map of Prythian, and a digital download of the complete audiobook.

The audiobook itself—the sixth in the #1 bestselling series—also drops today and is available for order. The story finds Koschei the Deathless stirring from his millennia-long imprisonment beneath a mountain lake, with the Night Court’s fractured leadership forced to unite against a spreading threat across the Fae territories.

RBmedia’s Chief Content Officer, Troy Juliar, framed the release as a keepsake rather than just a format experiment. “This exclusive vinyl release gives fans a beautiful new way to experience the story,” he said. “We worked with acclaimed illustrator Juan Nares—selected by Sarah to curate artwork for her fans—whose bold design reimagines the world of ACOTAR as an unforgettable vinyl release. We’ve created a stunning collector’s edition that’s truly a piece of ACOTAR history designed to be treasured for years to come.”

The rollout has already had a live component. Last night, RBmedia hosted a private listening party at Public Records in Brooklyn, New York, where superfans gathered for a Prythian-inspired evening. Evans performed a live reading from the fifth book and later joined content creator Isabel Klee—known online as Simon Sits—for a fireside chat. At midnight, attendees were led into The Sound Room, a high-end listening space, for the first play of A Court of Splintered Harmony.

RBmedia, the world’s largest audiobook publisher, distributes its catalog of more than 110,000 titles across platforms including Audible, Spotify, Apple, Google Play, and OverDrive. The company is owned by H.I.G. Capital and Francisco Partners.

Why it matters: This release signals how audiobook publishers are moving beyond digital convenience into tangible, collectible experiences that reward superfans. By pairing a beloved narrator with original artwork and physical keepsakes, RBmedia is testing whether premium vinyl can become a lasting bridge between audio storytelling and fandom culture.
