New single “Stuck In My Memory” arrives Oct. 23, following the release of the title track
NASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For country singer-songwriter Ryan Broshear, the places we come from and the people we lose are never far away. That tension sits at the center of his upcoming three-song EP, Heaven For A Good Old Boy, which lands Friday, Nov. 13. After opening the project with the title track on Oct. 9, Broshear now shares “Stuck In My Memory” today [here], giving listeners a second preview before “If Whiskey Were You” closes out the collection.
The three tracks together circle a familiar country theme: the things worth holding onto, and the things that refuse to let go. Broshear doesn’t rush the storytelling, letting each song breathe in its own setting.

On “Stuck In My Memory,” a trip toward the family farm stirs up more than scenery. The sights and the smell of honeysuckle pull the narrator back to an old front porch, a teenage pickup truck, and a fishing outing with Grandpa that lands with unexpected emotional weight. It’s a song about the pull of home and the ache of realizing that some of our most precious moments only live on in recollection.
The title track, “Heaven For A Good Old Boy,” paints paradise in simpler terms: a country band playing Haggard, a calm morning on the water, and a life anchored by hard work and family. The backwoods imagery sets the tone for a record grounded in familiar places and close personal bonds.
Closing track “If Whiskey Were You” shifts into heartbreak territory, using whiskey, bourbon, and tequila to frame a relationship’s disappointments. Behind the barroom imagery, though, is a narrator dealing with loneliness and learning that an old love’s memory is harder to shake than expected.

Why it matters: In a genre often split between polished pop-country and gritty tradition, Broshear’s EP leans into the latter with songs that value place, memory, and plain-spoken emotion. For fans of classic country storytelling, this project signals a continued commitment to songs that feel rooted in real life rather than trend-chasing.
