The follow-up to the title track is out today, with the final song due alongside the full project next month.

NASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For country singer-songwriter Ryan Broshear, the next chapter of his story is rooted in the familiar: porches, pickup trucks, whiskey and the weight of memory. His forthcoming three-song EP, Heaven For A Good Old Boy, is set to arrive Friday, Nov. 13, and the project’s second single, “Stuck In My Memory,” drops today [here]. The title track launched Oct. 9, and the collection will close with “If Whiskey Were You.”

The three tracks on the EP revolve around a central tension: the things we fight to keep and the things we struggle to release. It’s a theme that runs through every verse, from nostalgic drives to barstool reflections.

“Stuck In My Memory” follows a narrator driving toward the family farm, where the sights and the sweetness of honeysuckle pull him back in time. The song conjures an old front porch, a teenage pickup truck and a fishing trip with Grandpa that lands with unexpected emotional force. It’s a meditation on homecoming and the sobering truth that some of the most cherished moments can only live on in recollection.

The EP’s title track sketches a different kind of paradise, one built on modest joys: a country band playing Haggard, a still morning on the water and a life defined by hard work and close family. The rustic imagery sets a tone that carries through the entire project, grounding it in specific places and deep personal ties.

Closing cut “If Whiskey Were You” shifts into more painful territory, using bourbon, whiskey and tequila to map out a relationship’s letdowns. Beneath the saloon-style imagery sits a narrator wrestling with solitude, finding that an old flame’s presence is far harder to shake than he expected.

Heaven For A Good Old Boy — Tracklist & Release Dates:

  • “Heaven For A Good Old Boy” — Oct. 9
  • “Stuck In My Memory” — Oct. 23
  • “If Whiskey Were You” — Nov. 13

Why it matters: In an era where country music often leans toward the polished and pop-driven, Broshear’s stripped-back, narrative-heavy approach reminds listeners that the genre’s core still lives in storytelling. His ability to turn small-town details into universal emotions gives the EP a reach that extends well beyond the rural settings it depicts.
