For South Asian audiences scattered across the United States and Canada, finding a single trusted source for concerts, festivals, community businesses, and cultural news has often meant juggling multiple apps and websites. Sanskar Savvy’s newly expanded platform aims to close that gap, folding event listings, artist features, and a business directory into one connected digital home.

The revamped Sanskar Savvy homepage now aggregates South Asian entertainment news, artist profiles, event discovery tools, contests, and a searchable business directory for audiences throughout North America. The site’s expanded Events Hub lets users browse concerts, comedy shows, festivals, and cultural gatherings through searchable listings, city-based filters, and direct ticket links.

Sanskar Savvy has broadened its scope to become a fuller resource for South Asian events, entertainment, business discovery, and community engagement across North America, according to an announcement from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Built during a summer immersed in the culture, Sanskar Savvy connects event discovery, entertainment, streaming, cricket, businesses and community partners.

The relaunch follows a season of on-the-ground coverage, including major concerts and cultural gatherings, where the team gathered feedback from fans, artists, and partners. That input shaped a significant investment in the platform, which now aims to create clearer pathways between the stories readers consume, the events they attend, the businesses they patronize, and the communities they belong to.

“This next chapter of Sanskar Savvy was built from real-world audience feedback. We saw community members discover events, exchange recommendations, support the arts and local businesses, and keep the experiences going long after the occasion. We wanted to create one connected place where distinct communities could find relevant information on what is happening around them, join the conversation, and become part of the story.” — Jason Shaw, CEO, Sanskar Media Group.

The platform is evolving in real time, shaped by concert crowds, backstage conversations, fan questions, and collaborations with artists, promoters, and partners. Those interactions revealed an opportunity for Sanskar to move beyond a single-story destination and become a cultural decision-making engine, where users decide what to attend, watch, hear, discover, and support.

Recent editorial coverage has included Major League Cricket, A.R. Rahman, Vishal & Sheykhar, Anuv Jain, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Kumar Sanu, Diljit Dosanjh, and other artists and events central to South Asian culture in North America.

During the 13-market Vishal & Sheykhar Superhit Tour, Sanskar connected fans with artist interviews, city and concert guides, contests, ticket information, fan highlights, and behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the summer. That experience directly shaped the platform’s next phase, which preserves the brand’s editorial roots while adding new tools for discovery and participation.

The reimagined Events Hub provides a central destination for concerts, comedy shows, festivals, conventions, and cultural events. Visitors can toggle between list and calendar views, searching by city, state, month, and event type. Dates, venues, and ticket links are organized in one place, easing the journey from discovery to purchase and attendance.

Going forward, Sanskar Savvy will expand its coverage of major South Asian concerts, tours, festivals, and cultural events with announcements, exclusive presale information, city and concert guides, contests, firsthand coverage, and post-show stories.

Entertainment discovery extends beyond live events. The platform’s streaming and OTT guides, film coverage, music releases, playlists, and recommendations help audiences navigate a crowded entertainment landscape. Artist Spotlights will continue introducing both established and emerging talent, while Sanskar Sessions brings readers closer to the artists, creators, producers, and cultural leaders shaping music and entertainment. Cricket coverage will also continue, including major international tournaments, North American cricket, players, business developments, and diaspora-relevant stories.

The reinterpreted Sanskar Savvy Business Directory offers a dedicated space for discovering and supporting South Asian-owned and diaspora-relevant businesses. Organizations can request listings, giving community members another way to find South Asian-connected services, brands, and businesses. The platform will also grow its coverage of community leaders, careers, food, fashion, identity, and daily experiences that connect South Asians everywhere.

A new Sanskar WhatsApp Community provides another direct channel for select event news, presale alerts, contests, tour announcements, and community updates.

The expanded platform also encourages participation. Readers can submit events, recommend South Asian-owned businesses, suggest artists for Artist Spotlights, nominate Community Champions, share story ideas, and contribute coverage from their own cities. This input will help Sanskar Savvy strengthen city-by-city discovery while reflecting the range of experiences, voices, and communities that make up South Asian life in North America.

The new iteration also creates more integrated opportunities for artists, event promoters, venues, brands, businesses, and community organizations seeking to connect with South Asian audiences. Partnership offerings include culturally informed storytelling, event discovery, website features, newsletters, dedicated email campaigns, contests, social media, and community activations—programs that link awareness with discovery, attendance, participation, and ongoing engagement.

In the coming months, Sanskar Savvy will increase its event coverage, city-by-city discovery, Business Directory, Artist Spotlights, Sanskar Sessions, streaming and concert guides, cricket coverage, contests, and community-contributed stories.

The goal is to make Sanskar Savvy the starting point for South Asian cultural discovery in North America—a place to find what’s happening, discover artists and stories worth knowing, support local businesses, and participate. “Celebrate, Explore, Connect!” remains the guiding motto as the platform enters its next chapter.

Why it matters: As South Asian communities grow across North America, the demand for culturally specific discovery tools—from event tickets to local businesses—has outpaced what general platforms offer. Sanskar Savvy’s expansion positions it as a central resource for diaspora audiences seeking connection, representation, and a sense of belonging in their daily cultural lives.
