Its scarcity, outstanding preservation, and full set of authentic extras make it a thrilling prospect for music enthusiasts.”— Mark Hochman, Propstore’s Music Memorabilia Specialist.LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Propstore, a premier global auction house for entertainment collectibles, has revealed that a highly uncommon limited-edition Kraftwerk bicycle, crafted by the band’s co-founder Ralf Hütter, is projected to command up to $26,400 at its forthcoming Music Live Auction. Scheduled for October 1 and 2, 2026, in the UK, this two-day event will feature over 800 lots of music-related memorabilia, with a total estimated valuation of $4 million, and will be open to bidders from around the globe.
The centerpiece bicycle is a limited-edition Canyon Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk, envisioned by co-founder Ralf Hütter and manufactured in an extremely constrained series of merely 21 units worldwide. The entire run was instantly sold out following its launch on July 3, 2017. Marked as number 5/21, this particular bike carries a pre-auction valuation of $13,200 to $26,400 (£10,000 – £20,000).
This partnership merged Canyon’s precision-engineered German craftsmanship with Kraftwerk’s iconic aesthetic. The bike’s matte black carbon frame showcases a reflective, geometric pattern conceived by Hütter and hand-applied throughout, with the intricate design reportedly requiring seven hours to cut and affix. This top-tier road bicycle includes a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX frame, a SRAM wireless eTap groupset, and a Zipp 303 Firecrest carbon wheel system.
The bicycle highlights Kraftwerk’s enduring association with cycling, a motif that has appeared repeatedly in their music and visual style. Their 1983 single “Tour de France,” launched to mark the race’s 80th anniversary, featured the sounds of bike chains, gear mechanisms, and a rider’s breathing. The band revisited this theme twenty years later with the 2003 album Tour de France Soundtracks.
Additionally included is the exclusive holiday gift set provided to the bike’s first owner, which contains a Kraftwerk-branded cycling jersey, T-shirt, water bottle, cycling cap, sticker, user manual, spare parts kit, a numbered certificate, and the 3-D The Catalogue eight-CD box set. The bicycle also comes with its original packaging, consignment documentation, and authentication papers, and it has been assembled solely for photographic purposes.
The auction is set to take place live over two days on October 1 & 2, 2026, with bidding options available online, via telephone, and through absentee bids for international collectors.
Propstore will additionally host a special complimentary public exhibition at The Cumberland Hotel, London, from September 24 – 27, 2026, providing fans and collectors an opportunity to view standout pieces up close before they are auctioned.
