At the story’s core stands Eddie Slaski, a relocated Bostonian and recovering alcoholic striving to rebuild his existence through sobriety, a fresh profession, and an unforeseen romance—until nightmares, coincidences, and violence hint that the darkness around him has not been left behind.
As Eddie and his new partner struggle with recurring nightmares that eventually prove to be past-life memories linked to that same horrifying incident, their bond grows stronger, and seemingly accidental encounters pull them nearer to a past neither consciously recalls. They become entangled in a present-day homicide involving a missing NASA engineer’s spouse, stolen funds, and influential individuals who may have exploited Eddie’s investigative talents to help orchestrate the murder. Sink, a former advertising executive, writing teacher, journalist, and musician, now resides in Florida, where he writes fiction, composes and records original music, and performs in a Russian-language musical trio. He holds an MA in English, served as a Navy journalist, and wrote for a Boston business journal before moving into advertising and teaching. He has released six CDs of original music and authored five novels.
