Penned half a dozen years ago and nearly forgotten, ALYA’s latest single turns a private experience into a sweeping story of optimism, strength, and fresh starts.
I’m so thrilled to finally get to tell my tale of embracing love after swearing I’d never open my heart again”— ALYALOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Half a decade ago, ALYA composed a track she never thought would see the light of day.
Now, “BELIEVER” has emerged as the lead single from the Grammy-winning pop artist’s upcoming album, In The Moment, set to drop in late March 2027.

Out now across all major streaming services, “BELIEVER” originated during one of the most exposed phases of ALYA’s existence; a stretch when heartache had convinced her that romance was no longer in her future. Then, quite suddenly, that belief shifted.
“I had fully surrendered on love following a difficult situation that really defeated me” ALYA states. “Then, out of nowhere, heaven sent an angel my way and turned me into a believer once more.”
Produced by celebrated musician and producer Tim Carmon and co-written by ALYA and Breana Marin “BELIEVER” morphs that journey into an emotionally charged pop track built around commanding vocals, heartfelt melodies, and cinematic production.
Perhaps due to how intimate the song was, ALYA kept it hidden for years.
As time went on, she began to see the experience that sparked it as part of an earlier era of her life. The song stayed in the vault until her partner urged her to look past her own connection to the work.
“I was told over and over, ‘Nobody else has heard it and you don’t know who you may motivate to keep pushing forward and not surrender.’” ALYA says.
That viewpoint altered everything. Especially since ALYA’s purpose behind her music is to inspire and lift others.
“I understood that I wish I’d had a song like this when I was at my lowest point” she says. “I know it would have encouraged me to keep heading toward the brightness that was waiting for me.”
What started as a personal meditation turned into something bigger; a track about discovering the strength to stay open to opportunity after letdown.
Musically, “BELIEVER” merges modern pop with the emotional scope and orchestral feel that have become hallmarks of ALYA’s style. Marin and her creative crew built much of the song’s musical groundwork, while Carmon added extra synthesizers and production touches that amplify the record’s cinematic quality.
Also joining the song’s musical arrangement gathering is an unexpected instrument for a contemporary pop record: the accordion.
Its appearance ties directly into ALYA’s Eastern European roots. Her mother pushed her to study the instrument as a young girl, though ALYA resisted it back then. Years later, she returned to that sound with a fresh gratitude, weaving it into “BELIEVER” as both a musical hallmark and a link to her background.
“I wanted to bring something distinctive to this track” ALYA says. “Dipping into my childhood recollections gave me the ideal chance to do that.”
The outcome is a record that feels deeply personal without sacrificing its broad appeal; grounded in ALYA’s own narrative, but created for anybody who has ever felt that disappointment marked the finish of their story.
“BELIEVER” also signals the start of a wider artistic phase for ALYA. Her upcoming album, In The Moment, examines vulnerability, identity, self-confidence, and all the surprising ways life can bring back what once seemed permanently gone.
For ALYA, putting out “BELIEVER” after six years is ultimately less about revisiting a difficult past than letting that past deliver hope and brightness to someone in the here and now.
“I’m so thrilled to finally get to tell my tale of embracing love after swearing I’d never open my heart again” she says. “I hope ‘BELIEVER’ reminds anybody who has abandoned hope in romance that true affection can be yours if you simply have faith.”
