Bible with Life is now providing customized Scripture blessing songs for newborns and baby dedication ceremonies, enabling parents, grandparents, and godparents to link a particular Bible passage to a child's name from the very start.
The person giving the gift selects a verse, types in the child's name, and receives a song composed around that Scripture. Producing and sharing the song costs nothing, while a permanent MP3 download is offered for $1.99.
The tradition of choosing a Bible passage for a newborn is well established among Christian families, and it is often made official during a dedication or christening. What families rarely get is a format for that verse that endures beyond the ceremony.

At five it is the song from their birthday. At twenty it is the passage their parents picked before they had done anything to earn it. That is roughly how blessing is supposed to work."
The list of verses for new babies draws from passages about being known and formed by God before birth, as well as blessings spoken over children in both the Old and New Testaments. Each verse includes a brief note explaining what the passage means, so a grandparent selecting a verse does not have to guess.
New babies represent one of eight life events the platform supports, alongside birthdays, weddings, sympathy, healing, encouragement, graduations, and anniversaries.
