Mack Holland Announces His Transformation Through New Single "I'm In A Change"
Mack Holland creates gospel music driven by a distinct mission: uplifting people through faith and reminding them of God’s presence. The artist, author, and spiritual motivator—who grew up in Aiken, South Carolina, and now calls Augusta, Georgia, home—has shaped his creative output around thankfulness, love, personal witness, and uplifting messages. Drawing inspiration from CeCe Winans and Kirk Franklin, Holland treats music as a calling rather than a quest for fame, leveraging his platform to express his devotion to the Lord and encourage listeners to examine their own lives.
Holland performed with local ensembles early in his career before turning to poetry during his teenage years. That writing path eventually brought him to Nashville, where he laid down five early tracks at Paramount Studios. His formation in the Baptist Church and Catholic schools gave him the spiritual grounding that continues to influence his work. Beyond music, Holland is also a published author, carrying the same message of hope into his books.
His body of work remains focused on dedication and personal witness. “My God Is Amazing” climbed into the Top 20 on the DRT Gospel charts, and Holland reports that the track received a Grammy nomination in 2026. His more recent release “Voices,” featuring Sarah Rucker, continues that emphasis on faith-driven, uplifting music.
“I’m In A Change” places Holland’s theme of spiritual transformation front and center. Written as he concentrated on what he calls God’s messages and guidance, the song follows a person who recognizes the need to return to faith and start living differently. “I’m in a change / I can’t remain the same,” Holland sings, making the title both a personal statement and a commitment visible to others.
The lyrics travel through thankfulness, hardship, prayer, and the conviction that God remains near even when someone feels adrift or isolated. Holland expresses gratitude to God for life, purpose, breath, love, and blessings while recognizing the difficulties that challenge belief. “You were calling me home / I was lost, and all alone” frames change as a homecoming to where he feels he belongs. The repeated pledge, “I’m in a change / For the people to see,” links private faith with outward demonstration.
Holland recorded the track alongside producer Willie Smith at Willie Smith Studios in Atlanta. Holland recalls Smith becoming emotional and crying during the session, a reaction that assured him the song’s feeling was reaching beyond the performance itself.
The music video, shot by Charlotte-based videographer Ron Bridges, places Holland alongside a lake in Charlotte, North Carolina, as he contemplates life-altering decisions and spiritual development. Holland is currently working on new music and preparing a follow-up to his book “Sweet Inspiration,” carrying forward his work in both music and writing with faith as the foundation.
