TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Performer Jeff DuJardin (Elkhorn) features in the biographical motion picture, SILENT LIFE: The Rudolph Valentino Centennial Final Cut. This film will be shown exactly a century after the silent-era star passed away, during the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2026, as well as at TIFF: The Market, the festival’s newly established international content marketplace.
DuJardin is part of an impressive ensemble that includes Isabella Rossellini, Franco Nero, Terry Moore, Sherilyn Fenn, and Paul Rodriguez, with Vladislav Kozlov portraying Valentino. Kozlov also serves as the director of this project, which explores the life of Hollywood’s original major screen sex symbol.
SILENT LIFE blends fiction, documentary, and silent film techniques. The story begins when Paul (DuJardin), a visionary film director, sets out to make a documentary about classic Hollywood. Along the way, he uncovers the hidden history of Rudolph Valentino (Kozlov), the first male sex symbol and Hollywood megastar, and the enigmatic Lady in Black (Moore), who asserts she was the actor’s final romantic partner. She discloses to Paul the hardships, victories, and tragic end of her beloved.
DuJardin had previously collaborated with Sherilyn Fenn, Franco Nero, and director Vladislav Kozlov on the dramatic feature Immortalist, a role that earned him the Best Actor award at the 2022 Orlando Film Festival.
Viewers have grown familiar with DuJardin due to his widely praised portrayal of the main antagonist, Marquis de Morès, across two seasons of the well-liked western TV series, Elkhorn. The program follows a young Theodore Roosevelt as he heads westward to North Dakota’s Badlands, where he encounters the French aristocrat-turned-cowboy Marquis de Mores, who aims to become the West’s first billionaire through cattle ranching and various pursuits.
During August, Elkhorn ranked as a top-streaming western series on Amazon Prime. For his work in Season 2, DuJardin was honored with the Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series award from Cowboys & Indians Magazine, and was listed among the greatest TV Screen Villains of All Time by the popular entertainment site ScreenRant. DuJardin also had the privilege of representing the series at the Western Heritage Awards in Oklahoma City, where it was inducted into the 2026 Class of the Cowboy Hall of Fame, and he appeared as a special guest at the opening of the Teddy Roosevelt Museum in North Dakota.
