The debut weekend will feature three of Gospel music’s most acclaimed and influential acts sharing one Strip stage for the very first time: the top-selling female gospel group in history – The Clark Sisters; one of the most decorated artists in gospel, with numerous Stellar Awards, Dove Awards and a Grammy – Fred Hammond; and multiple Stellar Awards, Dove Award, BET and Grammy Award- nominee – Deitrick Haddon. This landmark residency kicks off on October 8 and 9, 2026 at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
These October performances represent the initial phase of the residency and a first within this Gospel music era. The “Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency” is designed as an ongoing, multi-date concert series, bringing together some of the most prominent names in Gospel music, with additional show dates to be announced in the months ahead.
This residency merges IKON Presents’ live event production and promotion capabilities with Dr. Holly Carter’s extensive connections throughout the gospel, faith-based, and entertainment spheres. Carter, who has guided the careers of many of Gospel music’s leading figures, partners with IKON Presents as a creative collaborator, contributing both her industry ties and her vision for elevating Gospel music onto Las Vegas’ premier stages.

A HISTORIC LINEUP
The Clark Sisters — Twinkie, Karen, Dorinda and Jacky Clark — are broadly recognized as the most influential family ensemble in gospel music history. Frequently referred to as “the First Ladies of Gospel,” this Grammy-winning quartet pioneered a style merging traditional gospel with R&B and pop influences, paving the way for contemporary gospel as it exists today. Their collection of generation-defining recordings has shaped countless artists across both gospel and mainstream music.
Fred Hammond – For over four decades, music enthusiasts worldwide have known Grammy Award-winning artist Fred Hammond as a gifted vocalist, songwriter, musician, producer, and arranger. Yet, as both his peers and fans have respectfully declared, he is unquestionably the creator of a movement in Gospel music: Urban Praise & Worship—a gospel genre that did not exist previously. Consequently, Fred Hammond has become one of the most revered figures in the music industry. Deitrick Haddon – Originally from Detroit, Michigan, he is famous for his progressive, contemporary gospel approach often combined with R&B, hip-hop, and soul. He first gained prominence leading the Voices of Unity and has since developed a very successful solo career, achieving multiple #1 albums on the Billboard Top Gospel charts. Born to ministerial parents, Haddon began his musical ministry at age ten and delivered his first sermon at eleven. He first made an impact in the industry with albums such as Lost & Found (2002), Church on the Moon (2011), and Masterpiece (2015). Beyond music, he has broadened his work to include television and film.
