“Michael Jackson’s crystal glove ranks among the most iconic symbols in music history, and this particular piece originates from a critical turning point in his career.”— Mark Hochman, Music Memorabilia Specialist at Propstore. LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Propstore, a premier auction house globally recognized for entertainment memorabilia, has unveiled plans for its next major Music Live Auction. Scheduled over two days in the UK on October 1 and 2, 2026, the event features an outstanding array of Michael Jackson items alongside pieces from numerous other globally renowned artists. The auction will present more than 800 lots, carrying a combined estimated valuation of $4 million, with bidding accessible to collectors from around the world.

Topping the collection is a custom-designed crystal glove worn on stage by Michael Jackson during the Jacksons’ landmark 1984 Victory Tour, with an estimated price of $52,800–$105,600 (£40,000 – £80,000). This tour took place amid the extraordinary success of Thriller, marking Jackson’s last performances alongside his brothers before he fully launched his solo career.

Fashioned by celebrity designer Bill Whitten, the white cotton right-hand glove is covered by hand with Swarovski crystals, engineered to sparkle under stage lighting and highlight Jackson’s swift motions and signature moves. It was presented backstage to a member of the tour’s marketing and ticketing team following one of three sold-out concerts at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The glove is accompanied by a letter verifying its authenticity from Artistic Beads & Studio LLC, whose founder, Stella Ruata, and her staff executed a significant portion of the Swarovski beadwork on Jackson’s gloves and jackets during the Victory Tour era.

Other notable pieces include Michael Jackson’s exclusive custom Sailors varsity jacket, worn during a 1993 visit to a children’s hospital in Washington and subsequently given to Bhatti, valued at $33,000–$66,000 (£25,000 – £50,000); and a black fedora tossed into the audience during a 1993 Dangerous World Tour performance at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca, valued at $13,200–$26,400 (£10,000 – £20,000).

The live auction will unfold over two days on October 1 & 2, 2026, with bidding options available online, by telephone, and through absentee bids for collectors across the globe.

Propstore is also organizing a special free public exhibition at The Cumberland Hotel in London from September 24 – 27, 2026. During this time, fans and collectors can view highlighted lots up close before they are auctioned. Mark Hochman, Propstore’s Music Specialist, shared his thoughts on the upcoming sale: “Michael Jackson’s crystal glove stands as one of the most recognizable symbols in music history, and this piece originates from a pivotal moment in his career. Worn during the Victory Tour at the peak of Thriller’s popularity, it captures Jackson at the moment he became the defining solo artist of his generation. Propstore is excited to present it alongside his unique Sailors varsity jacket and Dangerous World Tour fedora. Together, these extraordinary items span several of the most significant phases of his career and showcase the stage presence and unique style that made him a worldwide icon.”
