A new visual from a GRAMMY-nominated artist is turning Miami nightlife up a notch, blending Caribbean rhythms with a dance-floor command that’s already resonated with hundreds of thousands of listeners. The clip arrives as the artist behind it continues a musical journey that began in early childhood.

Paul Anthony’s introduction to music came at age three, performing alongside his father, Jamaican vocalist Pat Satchmo. Satchmo, who recorded during the rocksteady and early reggae eras, opened for Bob Marley & The Wailers at Toronto’s Massey Hall in 1975. Growing up in Boca Raton surrounded by working musicians, Anthony forged his own path in Dancehall, fusing a Reggae foundation with pop melodies and hip-hop cadences.
His stepfather, Jamaican producer and multi-instrumentalist Maurice Walker, taught him music theory and recording techniques. By twelve, Anthony was already writing lyrics, working in the studio, and performing with a rap group he’d formed with schoolmates. He kept recording and releasing music while competing in local talent shows, sharpening his stage presence.

In 2014, he founded his band Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs, gaining a following across South Florida through appearances at major events like SunFest, Miami Carnival, and The Tequila Fest. A collaboration with Emilio Estefan led to Anthony contributing as a songwriter and featured artist on “Philosophy of Life” and “Only in Jamaica” for The Wailers’ One World, which earned a Best Reggae Album nomination at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards.
His latest single, “Suéltalo,” featuring Solstarr—who also co-wrote and produced the track—anchors StarSZN, an album three years in the making. The song rides a Dancehall groove with an infectious Spanish hook, bringing Caribbean energy to the dance floor with crossover appeal. The collaborators aimed to recapture the spark of their earlier release, “Dip,” without duplicating it. They searched for a phrase that could function as a dance command, landing on “Suéltalo,” which translates to “drop it,” “let it go,” or “release it.” In this context, it’s an invitation to loosen up and get low.
Within its first six months, “Suéltalo” racked up a quarter-million Spotify streams and earned airplay on Miami’s Power 96, New York’s The Block, and Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio on SiriusXM.
Directed by Antwan Smith of Vigorous Films, the “Suéltalo” music video translates the song’s Dancehall energy into motion at Miami’s Club Amor. Anthony and Solstarr appear alongside sensual choreography and live fire performances by Holly Wood Productions. Holly, the company’s owner, coordinated casting and stars as the lead model and fire dancer. The video blends Caribbean vibes with Miami nightlife, inviting viewers to feel the heat and embrace the moment on the dance floor. Anthony is already planning additional visuals for StarSZN while developing new music, including recordings with his father.
